Quick Summary:
Date Tested: 5/28/2025
In this Cotz Face Moisture Lightly Tinted mineral SPF 35 sunscreen lotion review, I find a SPF 35 sunscreen which performs a bit lower than what I like to see. Thanks go to Alisa for the sunscreen sample!
The Cotz Face Moisture Lightly Tinted mineral SPF 35 sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen which contains Zinc Oxide at 16%. The Cotz brand markets a vegan, gluten free, and natural approach to skincare – almost sounds like you could eat it (but do not).
The Cotz Face Moisture Lightly Tinted mineral SPF 35 reduced 68.85% of irradiated UVA, 62.63% UVB, and 68.49% of total UVI. Somewhat lower protection than I would expect for a SPF 35. For reference, a high performing SPF 30 tests within the 75%+ UV blocking range.

Testing notes:
Somewhat subpar performance for a SPF 35 formula. Still, if this product feels good after application, or if you already have it, just remember to reapply often and you shouldn’t have any problems. I think.
