The Kose comfort Suncut UV Perfect Essence uses the active ingredients of Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, and Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate.
The Kose comfort Suncut UV Perfect Essence reduced 82.38% of irradiated UVA, 79.14% UVB, and 82.20% of total UVI. This brings this SPF 50 into the SPF 30-40 range. While not terrible, it isn’t that great either.

Testing notes:
If you want SPF 50 protection, look somewhere else. If SPF 30-40 is what you’re aiming for, this would be a contender. One thing that puts me off on this product however is the uneven distribution – I only assume that on the skin this problem could be exacerbated.
