So I’m in my surgical technologist program, and we’re starting to practice transporting patients on hospital gurneys all up and down the hallways at Skyline Community College (the very best, most prestigious, most tremendous, academic institution there is). While I’m pushing my classmates around, I look down at their faces and wonder to myself…Do they use sunscreen? I have a feeling I will be thinking this exact thing when transporting patients in the hospital. Such is life. Sunscreen is life.
The Elf Suntouchable! Invisible SPF 35 Sunscreen lotion is a chemical based formulation using the active ingredients of Avobenzone at 3.0%, Octisalate at 5.0%, Octocrylene at 8.0%, and Homosalate at 7.0%.
The results from testing show the Elf Suntouchable! Invisible SPF 35 Sunscreen lotion does well at blocking UVA by reducing it 93.26%, filtering UVB by 91.54%, and decreasing total UVI by 93.12%. Good marks for a low-ish SPF! Typically I expect these marks for sunscreen rated SPF 40 and up!

The Elf Suntouchable! Invisible SPF 35 Sunscreen lotion has a medium viscosity. As much as I could tell, this formulation distributed well and evenly. There were a few teeny-tiny trapped air bubbles in the sample, but that did not seem to harm the results.

Testing notes:
I like invisible sunscreen. They are solid choices for all skin colors and I find they seem to protect well without any type of skin cast.
